How is my Pay in 3 application assessed?

PayPal’s decision-making process is automated. They evaluate your financial position by combining the information you provide during your application with details about your usage and history with PayPal. If more information is needed, they may perform a “soft” credit check with an external credit reference agency. This “soft” check is only visible to you and does not affect your credit score.

Will applying for Pay in 3 affect my credit score?

No, your credit score will not be impacted by applying for Pay in 3. While a “soft” credit check may be conducted, it does not influence your score. However, we do share certain repayment history data with TransUnion. Although this data won’t affect your credit score, it will be visible to other companies and could influence your ability to obtain credit from other lenders or the cost of borrowing. For more details, please refer to the Pay in 3 Terms & Conditions.

Why was my Pay in 3 application declined?

Their automated system evaluates your financial position based on the information provided in your application and your usage and history with PayPal. If Pay in 3 is deemed unsuitable for you at this time, your application may be declined.

If your application is not approved, you can still use PayPal to securely checkout with other payment methods in your PayPal wallet. The reason for the decline may be shown on your application decision page, or you may receive a secure message through PayPal explaining the outcome.

Please view PayPal’s Pay In 3 Questions online for any further information.

Balbi Marengo Black

Balbi Ceniza Light Grey

Internal Tiles

How do I keep grout clean?

Most modern grout contains antibacterial agents to help prevent mould and mildew, but regular cleaning is still necessary, especially in damp environments. To enhance mould resistance, sealing your grout is highly recommended.

For cleaning:

  • Grout Cleaners: Always test standard grout cleaners on a small, hidden area first to prevent staining.
  • DIY Solution: Mix baking soda and water, apply to the grout, leave for a few hours, then scrub with a nylon brush for a natural, effective clean.

What grouts, adhesives, and trims will I need?

The right grout, adhesive, and trims depend on your specific tiling project. Our team is happy to recommend the best products for your needs. Call us at 01782 533722 for expert advice. View our tiling accessories here.

What is a slip rating?

A Slip Rating is a measurement that indicates how slip-resistant a floor tile is. The most common scale is the “R” rating:

  • R10 – Recommended as a minimum for indoor use.
  • R11+ – Ideal for outdoor and high-traffic areas.

While there are no legal slip resistance requirements, choosing the right rating helps ensure safety in your space.

What is MOT Type 1 Aggregate?

MOT Type 1 is a certified granular sub-base material made from recycled crushed concrete and rubble. Concrete sand is a crushed and filtered rock-based material, primarily used in concrete production, bedding for brick pavers, slabs, and floor screeds. It is also commonly applied as a base for walkways, patios, and swimming pools, providing stability and proper drainage.

What is Red & Yellow Building Sand?

Also known as builders’ sand, this high-quality soft sand is perfect for achieving a smooth finish. It is widely used for bricklaying, pointing, and rendering, making it an essential material for masonry and general construction work.
