BREAKAGES (PLEASE READ. IMPORTANT INFORMATION)
Please note the following is related to breakages and replacements:
1) Delivery
Delivery lead time is currently estimated at 5-7 working days (this may vary).
2) Tracking
You will receive text tracking from the couriers approximately 5 working days from placing your order. We cannot advise of a delivery date before 5 working days, so please do not call.
3) Your Trade Person
Do not book your landscaper or builder in until the goods have arrived (because delivery estimates are not guaranteed).
4) Replacements
Replacement goods lead time (damages) is estimated at 15 working days to arrive (therefore please order 10% extra for breakages, cuts & corners).
5) Collections
You can arrange a collection (starting from £100 per pallet) for full, unused pallets only. Collections take 3-5 working days to be made based on the availability of the haulier.
6) Customer Service
Please be aware, our customer service team can only convey information to you as quickly as we can get it back from the pallet networks. We will relay the information to you as soon as we get it.

No need to worry. Your goods have travelled a long way and may be fragile during transit. Occasionally, a few slabs may arrive damaged; this is sometimes unavoidable due to the nature of the paving materials. Please follow the steps outlined below, and we’ll ensure the issue is resolved promptly.
Breakages – Used For Offcuts / Corners
It’s standard industry practice to order approximately 10% more than your measured area. This extra allowance accounts for cuts and adjustments needed to fit edges, corners, and smaller gaps. Often, any broken slabs can still be used for these purposes, so they rarely go to waste. Ordering a little extra upfront can help avoid delays waiting for additional replacements.
Replacement Procedure
Please report breakages to the Milton Garden Products team within 24 hours of delivery date. You can reach us on 01782 533722 or alternatively email [email protected]
Photographic evidence is required. Please provide clear photos of the damaged goods, showing the extent of the breakages and identifying which items you need replaced or refunded.
If the slabs are out of stock and replacements aren’t available after delivery, we will issue a refund for the damaged items. Alternatively, you may choose to exchange or return your goods.
How long will my replacements take to arrive?
Replacements are dispatched directly from our supplier. Depending on your location and stock availability, delivery may take between 2–5 working days.
We strongly recommend waiting until all goods have been received before scheduling any tradespeople. Paving Direct cannot be held responsible for delays or issues arising from third-party arrangements or contracts outside of your purchase with us. All sales are made directly to the buyer.
