  • All product images and photographs are for guide purposes only and are not a guarantee of the appearance of the product – natural stone will have variations between packs.
  • All sizes are an approximate and certain sizes are nominal.
  • Pallets returned must be with the white copy of the receipt only.
  • Alterations and amendments may appear on our website without notice.
  • You are responsible for all orders placed on our website using your unique password.
  • You are required to notify Milton Garden Products if you suspect someone else has breached our security.
  • All goods remain the property of Milton Garden Products until paid for in full.
  • We reserve the right to collect from site any unpaid materials.
  • Our area calculation guide for aggregates is used for approximate estimation only.

  • Payment may be made by credit or debit card online as well as by cash in store.

Delivery Terms & Conditions

Once we’ve received your full payment and processed your order, we’ll confirm your purchase and let you know the expected delivery date by email or phone. Please note that exact delivery times can’t be provided. If the delivery date doesn’t work for you, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to arrange a more convenient time.

Free Delivery Available*

Free delivery is available to customers in selected postcodes who meet the minimum order amount for their area (postcode dependent).

Our drivers and couriers deliver to the kerbside only and will not leave the road or place products on public property. If you or your agent ask for delivery off the public highway, the driver may do so only if it’s safe and at their discretion, even if this was arranged beforehand. If you’re on site, you might need to sign a form accepting responsibility for any damage that could happen. We aren’t responsible for any damage to your property or our materials if our vehicle is taken off the public road or asked to crane over walls or fences. This includes damage to things like manholes, tarmac, cables, or gate posts. Drivers are also instructed not to drive on soft ground like mud, grass, or verges.

  • Courier deliveries may be unloaded using a hand pallet truck. On these occasions the driver will be unable to move your delivery on uneven or graveled areas.
  • A delivery by couriers normally occurs between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
  • Outside couriers are not responsible for any additional lifting or carrying of materials, nor do they deliver items to multiple addresses.
  • Collection from Milton Garden Products is free of charge and you may also be able to get collection discounts, especially for trade accounts.

Deliveries Incurring A Charge

All postcodes displaying a charge are calculated based on our courier’s rates, with no added extras.

Please Note:

  • Working days are classified as Monday to Friday and exclude bank holidays.
  • All delivery times apply to items in stock.
  • If any items are out of stock we will contact you and either organise a refund or give you an estimated time of availability.
  • Some offers and discounted products may be exclusive to the internet store only and may vary from depot prices. For those customers who live in some remote rural areas our delivery service may be extended by two working days or we may contact you to advise that your address is not serviceable.
  • Delivery to an address other than your billing address is permitted.

Preparation for Receipt Of Delivery

You will be contacted by Milton Garden Products or our external courier to arrange delivery, please provide/confirm the following details:

  • Confirm address details and leave a daytime telephone number so that we can contact you if necessary on the day of delivery.
  • Ensure the delivery area is accessible to a vehicle, flat and solid enough to take the weight of the delivery.
  • Access may be required for a vehicle up to 20 tonnes. Please notify us of any delivery constraints in advance. For example, weight limit, restricted street access, or soft ground.
  • If the vehicle is unable to deliver due to access, your order may be returned to us or the couriers depot where storage charges and re-delivery charges may be added. It is advisable to have someone taking delivery that is able to help the driver unload if required.

Your Rights To Cancel

  • You have no rights to cancel orders placed in store. However we may consider items for return and credit at our discretion .
  • Multi buys or special offers cannot be exchanged or refunded if not required.
  • All special orders that are non-stock items must be paid for in full prior to ordering and may incur a delay in delivery, and are subject to a non-refund or return policy.
  • Proof of purchase is always necessary.
  • Any bespoke or special orders will not be able to be cancelled or a refund given.

Our Right To Cancel

  • We have insufficient stock available to deliver within 28 days.
  • We believe a fraud has taken place.
  • Any of the goods you ordered were incorrectly listed or priced on our website.
  • We will contact you as soon as possible and will re-credit your credit or debit card within 28 days of your order.

Shortages & Damages

We will have no liability if you fail to notify us of any items that are damaged or of incorrect quantity by email, telephone or in writing within 1 working day of delivery. On notification within this timescale we will endeavor to resolve your issues.

Over Ordering

We cannot be held responsible for any under or over ordering, any reference to sizes and dimensions within the product description are purely for guide purposes only.

Colours

Variation in colour and shades of all products is unfortunately unavoidable and must be accepted.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery

You can cancel your order up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date, as after this time the dispatch process is complete and the goods are no longer in our control. If you cancel before dispatch, we’ll provide a full refund. However, if you cancel after the goods have been sent out, you’ll be responsible for any return shipping costs. Returns may be accepted at our discretion, but the refund amount could be less than the original price paid, and some items may incur a 20% restocking fee.

Goods will be delivered to the delivery address provided by the purchaser. If delivery is unsuccessful due to either:

  1. An inaccurate or incomplete delivery address
  2. No-one being present to accept delivery
  3. Inaccessibility

Then, once another delivery date is arranged, the purchaser will be charged additional delivery charges for each attempted re-delivery. We advise you to only book in landscapers, laborer’s, tools, hire equipment etc. once you are in full receipt of your goods. If you book in labour and your delivery is delayed, Milton Garden Products accepts no liability for any incurred costs.

Delivery will be deemed complete when the goods have been offloaded at the nearest accessible point to the delivery address, which in many cases will be the property kerbside. Delivery required any closer to the property will be at the driver’s discretion. Milton Garden Products deliveries are NOT made by its own vehicles outside of the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent area so a third party courier is used. Milton Garden Products accepts no liability for delays in haulage that may occur which result in customers incurring costs or damages to the property on deliveries. Handling & Storage After Delivery

Immediately after delivery and examination by the purchaser of the goods, the purchaser shall be responsible for moving the goods to suitable protection. Milton Garden Products takes no liability for goods improperly stored or handled.

Quality & Description of Goods

Because many of our paving products are made from natural stone (example: sandstone), variations in colour, tone, texture, size, thickness, and shape are to be expected. This means the actual stone you receive may look different from the images shown on our website or other sales channels. We strongly recommend requesting physical samples before placing an order, and encourage customers to visit Milton Garden Products to view the range in person. It’s the customer’s responsibility to ensure the goods are suitable for their intended use. All items are sold with the understanding that natural stone comes with unique characteristics; such as colour variation, texture differences, and natural markings, which are all part of its charm and appeal.

Fitting

Milton Garden Products strongly recommends using a qualified and experienced installer for the storage, handling, laying, and sealing of all natural stone and porcelain products. It’s also important to use a high-quality, suitable adhesive and grout for professional fitting; we currently stock a variety of adhesives and grouts, so feel free to ask us for more information.

To protect natural stone paving from fading and discolouration, we recommend sealing it with a trusted, high-quality sealant. We stock AZPECTS EASY SEAL, which is ideal for this purpose, please contact us for details.

Returns & Exchanges

To reduce the risk of breakage, we recommend ordering full packs instead of split packs. Splitting a pack means the product is removed from its original, secure packaging and placed onto a less stable half pallet, which increases the chance of damage during transit.

If any damage is noticed upon delivery, please take photos of the affected area within 24 hours. If you receive damaged slabs, have the carrier mark the delivery as “Damaged” on arrival and notify us within 24 hours to arrange a refund or exchange. We recommend that you only remove the top layer of polythene to reveal the slabs, so you can thoroughly inspect them and accurately count the damaged pieces. Please email your photos, along with your name and address for reference, to s[email protected].

Damaged and unused slabs must be returned to us before we can issue a refund or send replacements. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to arrange the return. Please do not lay the slabs, as chips or further damage may occur during installation, which could affect your eligibility for an exchange.

Only full, unused packs can be exchanged; using any slabs from the pack may result in losing the right to a replacement. Do not begin installation and then report damage, as we cannot be held responsible for any issues once the slabs have been unpacked or laid. Any costs for returning or redelivering the slabs will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

We do not offer exchanges, replacements, or refunds for breakages, chips, minor damage, or discolouration affecting up to 10% of the total order. This is considered normal “spillage” within the paving industry.

We strongly recommend ordering at least 10% extra to allow for cuts and breakages — or 15% extra for Rainbow Sandstone, which is more prone to variation.

Please note: we do not accept returns or offer refunds for over-ordered stock, as it is the purchaser’s responsibility to order the correct amount. Any excess or unused materials must be disposed of by the purchaser.

All advertised thicknesses of Indian Sandstone is for guide purposes only. However, due to the nature of the product a tolerance of plus or minus 25mm can be possible. Some Sandstone comes with unique flecks and speckling, hairline cracks which occur in natural products, these are not considered unusable.

At our discretion, we may allow items to be returned, the price upon refund may not be the same as the original price paid, some items may be subject to a 20% restocking charge.

Milton Garden Products is not liable for any defects or damage resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, poor or improper installation, abnormal conditions, intentional damage, or any alterations or repairs made to the goods after delivery.
